3D Printed Objects

Overview

This class assignment involved creating a 3D object inspired by two UNESCO heritage sites within a single country. I chose Paris, France, focusing on Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Banks of the Seine. The resulting lock and key objects were modeled after the intricate architectural details of the cathedral, bridges, and surrounding structures. The concept also incorporates Paris's "love lock" culture, where couples attach locks to bridges near the Seine and throw the key into the river as a symbol of lasting love. By merging architectural ornamentation with this romantic tradition, the project offers a small sculptural interpretation of Paris as both a historic and emotional landscape.
